簡介

The HongKong Language Research Association has a long history, formerly known as the"Hong Kong Language Education Association" established on January 1,1993. Since the return of Hong Kong, as an international city, Hong Kong hasattracted people from all over the world to visit. In order to meet the needsof various language exchanges and research, the "Hong Kong LanguageEducation Association" officially changed its name to "Hong KongLanguage Research Association" on July 1, 1997. , which is an earliernon-profit academic society named after "language research " in HongKong.

The HongKong Language Research Association is composed of experts in Mandarin,Cantonese, English, French, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, German, andPortuguese.The Hong Kong Language Research Association adheres to thedevelopment policy of "Based in Hong Kong, Facing the World", andorganizes language-related courses and seminars every year. Committed topromoting Hong Kong to become an internationally renowned language researchcenter.

The purpose of the association is:

1. Topromote the development of language research in Hong Kong;

2. Facilitate exchanges and connections amongmembers in the field of language;

3. Raisingthe professional level of language researchers;

4. Researchmainstream languages and include minor languages;

5. Improvethe linguistic theory and methodology system.
